Diotto Woodland WindTex®

Hunting boots made of water-repellent natural leather treated with polyurethane with a special process that gives the upper a smooth effect and offers protection from scratches from brambles and stones, also preventing mud from taking root, making the boot easy to clean.

The upper is made of a single piece and features a lateral rubber band to absorb external shocks.

The collar is made of nubuck leather which allows flexibility in the movement of the foot and support for the ankles.

The inner sock is made of WindTex® fabric to ensure waterproofness and breathability.

The applied small parts are made of rust-proof ZAMA alloy .

Equipped with a midsole made of microporous material , it offers an excellent cushioning effect to make walking lighter.

The Vibram Fourà sole guarantees excellent grip on any slippery terrain, making the boot suitable for hunting in the mountains or in hostile environments with brambles and thorns and for hunting from a hide.

  • Follow the advice of an expert like Diotto to maintain your hunting boots.

    • Select the appropriate model based on the specific needs of the type of use and the related environmental/atmospheric conditions.

    • Choose the right size, preferably with a practical fit test, and take care of your nails, which can damage the internal sock and therefore the membrane, reducing its waterproofness.

    • Do not dry your shoes near or in direct contact with stoves, radiators, direct sunlight, or other heat sources; choose shaded, dry, and ventilated spaces, removing the insole and drying it separately.

    • Never leave shoes in the trunk of your car for long periods on summer days because they could reach very high temperatures that could damage them.

    • Clean regularly using soft-bristled brushes, adding a little warm water if necessary for deep-seated dirt; the frequency of this operation should be determined based on the conditions of use.

    • Proceed with periodic treatment, with specific products such as Diotto spray (nubuck and suede) and Diotto cream (anti-scratch, full grain/greased).

    • Do not use aggressive liquids such as petrol, alcohol, acids, solvents, which may compromise the quality, safety and durability of the shoe.

    • When not in use, store footwear in a dry, clean and ventilated place.

    • After use, never store shoes in plastic bags, as over time, the lack of ventilation and the possible stagnation of humidity can cause mold, fungi, and other microorganisms to form, which will irreparably deteriorate the leather of the upper.

    • Changes or modifications in environmental conditions (for example extreme temperatures or humidity) can significantly reduce the performance of the footwear.
